Conti Ransomware Group Continues to Threaten Healthcare

Health IT Security:  The Conti cybergang continues to launch ransomware attacks against US healthcare entities. An update from Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the United States Secret Service (USSS) re-released a statement stating that Conti remains active and ransomware attacks have risen to over 1,000. Conti announced that it would support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and would retaliate against the USA should it attack any of Russia’s essential infrastructure.

Samsung Confirms Massive Galaxy Hack After 190GB Data Torrent Shared Via Telegram

Forbes: Samsung, the South Korean electronics conglomerate, confirmed that the Lapsus$ data extortion group leaked 190GB of confidential code relating to Galaxy phones. The good news is that it appears that customer or employee data was not stolen. It’s not clear if Lapsus$ has demanded a ransom as it did with Nvidia
