Security Affairs: Chick-fil-A is currently investigating a possible hack into user accounts. Customers have reported fraudulent activity, such as hundreds of dollars worth of food mysteriously ordered on one customer’s account. It appears that hackers are selling Chick-fil-A’s One Membership Program accounts for $2 to $200 dollars depending on the account balance. The company is offering online support to those who have been affected.

Forbes: Experts are warning that hacking tools and fake young female chatbots are being created using ChatGPT. Underground criminal forums are showcasing what hackers are producing using ChatGPT, including someone that installed a backdoor on a computer and could upload more malware to an infected computer. It’s only a matter of time until more sophisticated hackers will find a way to use AI to their advantage.
16 Car Makers and Their Vehicles Hacked via Telematics, APIs, Infrastructure
Security Week: Security researchers found multiple flaws in sixteen car makers’ platforms, including Acura, BMW, Ferrari, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota. They were able to send commands on various cars and the security defects allowed them to access a car maker’s internal applications and systems, including personally identifiable information (PII) for car owners. For certain car brands, they were able to start/stop engines, remotely lock/unlock the vehicles and retrieve the precise location of cars.The researchers contacted the car companies and all the vulnerabilities have been patched.
