Our agreements with our experts, as well as the client agreement with Talpoint, stipulate that the intellectual property created during the project is solely owned by the client. If you would prefer to enter into a direct agreement with our experts to facilitate the transfer of IP to you, we are happy to work with you to make that happen.
The client always owns the work they’ve paid for. Our contracts provide that all work created as part of the project engagement is the sole property of the client, not TalPoint or our subject matter experts.
We do our best to ensure a strong match from the beginning of a project but we understand that a good match goes beyond just skills and expertise. If you’re not satisfied with the expert you’re working with, we will work with you to find the perfect match for your project.
Yes, depending on the scope of the project(s) we may recommend more than one expert and can always match you with multiple experts at your request. Our approach is highly customizable to suit your project(s) objectives, deadlines, and budget.
We do not charge a retainer or placement fee. We require an initial deposit of $500 to get started. Your deposit is applied as a credit against your first invoice and if we are unable to match you with an acceptable expert, we’ll refund your full deposit.
Yes! We encourage and reward all client and expert referrals. We rely heavily on word-of-mouth and offer generous incentives for all referrals made through our program.
TalPoint is 100% focused on providing access to experts in security, privacy, risk, and compliance. Our candidates are vetted to ensure we only offer the best subject matter experts to our clients. Our goal is to introduce you to candidates with skills and experience in your project area within 48 hours of kicking off your project.
Our experts are located in the United States. The majority of our client projects are suitable for remote-workers. We can accommodate on-site requests on a case-by-case basis.
